Job Description




As a Security Officer - Unarmed Aerospace Patrol in Auburn, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points, observe and report unusual activity, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors. You will also represent our agile, reliable, and innovative team, bringing integrity and a people-first approach to every shift.

Pay Rate: $22.16 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or authorization, support badge and visitor management processes, and help maintain orderly vehicle and pedestrian flow.
  • Respond to alarms, calls for service, and incident reports in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
  • Document patrols, inspections, incidents, and daily activity in written and/or electronic logs, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
