As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control as needed. You will communicate clearly, document activity using a computer and/or tablet, and deliver a customer-service mindset to everyone on site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial processing location.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public responders as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Control access points by checking identification, managing visitor sign-in and/or badging, and monitoring vehicle and foot traffic in accordance with site rules.
• Complete detailed reports on shift activities, patrol findings, and unusual conditions, and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and site management as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
