The role - what you'll do Barr is seeking an archaeology intern to support our summer 2026 cultural resources field season. This position is based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and will support the larger Four Corners area, though work be located as far as Minnesota or North Dakota, depending on project needs. This person will be responsible for completing fieldwork tasks with a field lead at various remote locations and documenting findings in accordance with federal, state, and company procedures. A successful person in this internship enjoys working collaboratively and has a high attention to detail. They enjoy traveling to complete cultural resource surveys while also developing their reporting skills between fieldwork sessions. They are adaptable and complete tasks with a client service mindset. Your impact - key responsibilities

Compensation: Anticipated range of $21-$25 per hour. Compensation will vary based on relevant experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors. Employees in this position may also be eligible for a discretionary cash bonus based on team and individual performance.
