We are seeking an experienced Mobile Device Engineer 2 to provide advanced technical leadership across enterprise mobile environments in a high-visibility federal setting. Why This Role Matters As a Mobile Device Engineer 2, you will play a critical role in strengthening enterprise mobility architecture, ensuring secure device configuration, advanced MDM integration, and ongoing compliance across smartphones, tablets, and wireless devices. Your impact will directly influence: * Enterprise mobility security posture and policy enforcement * Integration of MDM platforms with broader enterprise systems * Advanced troubleshooting and performance optimization * Standardization of procedures and mobile deployment practices This is a senior technical role supporting secure federal mobility environments with 24x7 operational requirements. Key Responsibilities * Provide comprehensive end-to-end deployment support of mobile devices including smartphones, tablets, and hotspots * Perform advanced configuration to conform with mobile device policy and security requirements * Manage installation and deployment of MDM tools ensuring integration with SEC systems * Provision mobile devices and wireless services as requested * Perform advanced troubleshooting and incident resolution * Monitor mobile device environment for performance and compliance * Coordinate with carriers and vendors on device and service issues * Develop mobile device procedures and documentation * Support mobile application deployment and management * Manage mobile device security policies and compliance * Lead mobile device projects and initiatives What Success Looks Like Within your first 90 days, you will have: * Demonstrated advanced proficiency in MDM integration and enterprise mobility configuration * Strengthened compliance alignment with federal security requirements * Improved troubleshooting workflows and device lifecycle tracking * Led at least one mobility initiative or enhancement effort Long term, you will be recognized as a senior technical authority within the mobility team, driving security, efficiency, and modernization across enterprise mobile platforms. Qualifications What You Bring Required Qualifications * Minimum 5 years of experience deploying and managing mobile devices in an enterprise environment * Advanced experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms and integration with enterprise systems * Proven expertise configuring mobile security and compliance policies * Knowledge of iOS and Android enterprise management * Experience with carrier coordination and mobile services management Education & Substitutions Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience Education substitutions accepted per contract guidelines: * No Degree: 2 additional years experience * Associate's Degree: 1 additional year experience * Bachelor's Degree: Meets baseline requirement * Master's Degree or PhD: No additional experience required Preferred Skills * Multiple mobile platform certifications (Apple, Android) * Experience with Microsoft Intune and modern MDM platforms * Knowledge of mobile threat defense and security solutions * Understanding of DEP/ABM (Apple) and Android Enterprise * Proficiency with mobile application deployment and management * Strong technical leadership and project coordination skills Background Requirements: Successful completion of a Public Trust background investigation and/or a Public Trust clearance.
