As a Mobile Device Engineer, you play a critical role in ensuring enterprise mobility remains secure, compliant, and operationally efficient. Your work directly supports secure device deployment, policy adherence, and ongoing troubleshooting within a structured federal environment.

Your impact will directly influence:

* Secure mobile device configuration and compliance

* End-user productivity and device reliability

* Accurate inventory control and lifecycle management

* Effective coordination with carriers and mobility vendors

This is a hands-on technical role supporting enterprise mobile environments under federal security standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide end-to-end deployment support of mobile devices to end users

* Perform initial configuration of all mobile devices to conform with current mobile device policy

* Maintain inventory control of mobile devices at specified levels

* Support other wireless devices as required

* Perform troubleshooting and incident resolution for mobile device issues

* Manage mobile device enrollment and provisioning

* Support iOS and Android platforms

* Coordinate with carriers on device procurement and services

* Document mobile device procedures and support activities

* Track mobile device inventory and assignments

* Support mobile application deployment

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 90 days, you will have:

* Demonstrated strong proficiency in enterprise mobile configuration and provisioning

* Improved device deployment accuracy and policy compliance

* Established effective coordination with carriers and support teams

* Strengthened documentation and inventory tracking standards

Long term, you will be recognized as a dependable mobility specialist who ensures secure, efficient, and compliant device operations.



Qualifications

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

* Minimum 3 years of experience deploying mobile devices in an enterprise environment

* Experience configuring and troubleshooting mobile devices

* Knowledge of mobile device management (MDM) platforms

* Understanding of iOS and Android operating systems

* Familiarity with mobile security policies and compliance

Education & Substitutions

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience

Education substitutions accepted per contract guidelines:

* No Degree: 2 additional years experience

* Associate's Degree: 1 additional year experience

* Bachelor's Degree: Meets baseline requirement

* Master's Degree or PhD: No additional experience required

Preferred Skills

* Apple Certified iOS Technician or similar certification

* Experience with Intune, AirWatch, or similar MDM platforms

* Knowledge of mobile application management (MAM)

* Understanding of mobile security features and compliance

* Strong troubleshooting skills for mobile devices

* Good customer service and communication abilities

Background Requirements: Successful completion of a Public Trust background investigation and/or a Public Trust clearance.

Citizenship Status Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen
