We are partnering with a Manufacturing company looking for a Sr Human Resources Administrator
The SR HR Administrator is responsible for supporting People Operations across all divisions, including Employee Relations, HR Administration, Recruitment & Onboarding, Performance Management, Record Keeping, Payroll Coordination, Vendor Management, and Executive Support. This role manages, organizes, and executes HR and administrative initiatives in accordance with corporate policies and assigned responsibilities. The SR HR Administrator serves as a key point of contact for employees and external partners, ensuring compliance, confidentiality, and operational excellence while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
People Operations & HR Administration
Serve as the primary contact for employee inquiries and concerns; mediate conflicts and support a positive workplace culture. Assist in implementing employee engagement and retention initiatives. Process payroll and maintain accurate employee records in compliance with labor laws and company policies. Administer HR documentation, employee files, and internal databases with strict confidentiality. Coordinate with external vendors to administer employee benefit programs, including:
Communicating benefit offerings Supporting employee enrollments Reconciling billing statements Addressing ongoing employee benefit inquiries
Coordinate 401(k) contributions and administration with plan providers. Manage recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate coordination, and reference checks. Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new hires. Support the performance review process across all divisions. Maintain and update office records, insurance policies, licenses, files, and compliance documentation. Manage internal contracts and vendor relationships. Oversee procurement of office supplies, equipment maintenance, and facility upkeep. Support periodic updates to the Employee Handbook and company policies in collaboration with leadership and external HR/legal advisors. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures across all divisions.
Top Management & Compliance Support
Coordinate and manage external audits; serve as primary liaison for auditors and ensure timely completion of required documentation. Assist in developing and maintaining internal controls and policies. Support compliance initiatives, internal audits, and risk management processes. Provide administrative and operational support to executive leadership. Perform additional duties as assigned by top management.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2-5 years of experience in HR administration, payroll, people operations, finance, or a related field preferred. Demonstrated experience managing payroll systems and HR processes.
Knowledge & Skills
Strong understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and office administration principles. Proficient computer skills and experience with HRIS and payroll systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and confident presence. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
