Job Description

The Infrastructure Lead Consultant is responsible for creating, supporting, and integrating processes and tools that enable the delivery of infrastructure services. This involves providing critical analysis and guidance on infrastructure processes, monitoring, reporting, metrics, tools, and operational activities. The Technician Infrastructure Analyst (IA) leads infrastructure selection, development, implementation and maintenance by overseeing incident support and resolution efforts. The Technician IA plans and manages tasks related to automated monitoring and alerting solutions, metrics and reporting, new applications integration, and incident trending and analysis. The role provides problem management communications to senior leadership, oversees change implementation, communicates infrastructure changes to all stakeholders, and provides infrastructure-related communications and training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead incident trending and analysis work across multiple technologies to identify potential problems and drive those recommendations to resolution.

  • Ensure the execution of day-to-day procedural activities, which may include recovery support to the rest of Operations and includes communication status updates to various support teams based on published documentation.

  • Validate operational security for applicable tools processes through reporting and communication of security breaches.

  • Facilitate and oversee the implementation of technical and administrative changes.

  • Plan and manage tasks to create metrics and reporting solutions that enable improved infrastructure service delivery, including requirements definition, scripting/programming, and testing.

  • Plan and manage tasks to integrate new or revised critical/priority applications with operational support tools to provide automated monitoring and alerting, including requirements definition, documentation, escalation communication groups, coordination of scripting/programming, and testing.

  • Provide focus and the highest level of rigor around high availability incidents (e.g. incidents with Cloud Services and connectivity), driving the incidents which are user impacting, high profile and/or multi-application (e.g. Entra, AD and Bastion Hosts) through to resolution, while communicating the status (outages and returns to service) to leadership.

  • Manage/lead effort to determine the originating factors for a given incident, and develop and communicate recommendations for preventing repetition to key stakeholders.

  • Plan and manage tasks to create, revise, implement automation solutions for infrastructure production control processing monitoring and alerting, including requirements definition, scripting/programming, and testing,

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure management, with hands-on experience in AWS and Azure preferred.

  • Solid experience with Microsoft Entra is preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Terraform is required.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is 98,100.00 - 167,850.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
