The Senior Manager, Data Analytics and Operations is responsible for the day-to-day execution and tactical implementation of data analytics initiatives within the Health Analytics Solutions (HAS) team. This role serves as a key operational leader, managing analytics workflows, overseeing data pipeline operations, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality analytics products to internal and external customers. The Senior Manager will work closely with the Senior Director to translate strategic objectives into actionable deliverables while leading a team of data analysts and coordinating cross-functional activities. Responsibilities: Data Operations Management: * Oversee daily operations of data analytics pipelines, ETL processes, and data quality monitoring Team Leadership and Development: * Directly manage and mentor a team of 3-5 data analysts and associate data scientists Analytics Delivery and Quality Assurance: * Ensure timely and accurate delivery of analytics products to customers and stakeholders Customer Support and Engagement: * Serve as primary point of contact for day-to-day customer inquiries and requests Project Coordination: * Lead tactical analytics projects from requirements gathering through delivery * Experience with collaborating and engaging with corporate IT for provision of support and maintenance is particularly important. Process Improvement: * Identify opportunities to automate routine analytics tasks and improve efficiency Management Responsibilities: * Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of data analysts Qualifications: Preferred Work Experience: * 7+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence roles * Experience or understanding of statistical de-identification principles and tokenization software. Physical and Mental Requirements: * Ability to sit for extended periods while working on computer Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle) Leadership & Management: * Strong people management and team development skills Communication & Collaboration: * Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences Responsibilities include: * Hiring, onboarding, and training team members Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Analytics, or related quantitative field required Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Analytics, or related quantitative field preferred Primarily remote/office environment with standard business conditions. Extended periods of computer use in office or home office setting. May require occasional work during non-standard hours to support critical deliverables or system maintenance.
