City of Hope's growing national system includes its Los Angeles campus, a network of clinical care locations across Southern California, a new cancer center in Orange County, California, and treatment facilities in Atlanta, Chicago and Phoenix. Under the supervision of leadership and upon physician referral, this role delivers massage therapy services to patients at City of Hope, with a primary focus on direct patient care. The licensed massage therapist works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team that may include the Integrative Medicine Medical Director, nurse practitioners, social workers, physical therapists, psychiatrists, pain management and palliative care providers, and clinical researchers. The therapist is responsible for maintaining medically safe practices, adhering to infection control standards, and ensuring proper upkeep of massage supplies and equipment. Additional duties include assisting patients with required documentation such as consent forms, screening tools, and program evaluations. The individual in this role is expected to fully comply with all City of Hope policies, procedures, and organizational mission. As a successful candidate, you will:
