As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist guests, tenants, and staff with directions and service needs. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities in a retail location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, common areas, stock areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with store leadership and/or local public emergency services as needed.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, supporting loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting suspicious behavior and policy violations.
• Document and report observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns using required logs and systems, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
