As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Westfield, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support site personnel with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and control entry for employees, contractors, and visitors by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and/or directing traffic flow per site policy.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift logs using required systems, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions and/or with Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
