This role is well-suited for a project manager who thrives in a professional services environment and is motivated to strengthen modern IT delivery practices, platforms, and ways of working. Key Responsibilities Include: Project Leadership & Execution - Lead planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale IT and technology-enabled initiatives, including system implementations, integrations, cloud migrations, automation efforts, and AI-enabled solutions. - Manage project scope, timelines, resources, budgets, risks, and dependencies to ensure timely and efficient delivery. - Translate work into actionable tasks. - Develop and maintain project plans, communication plans, documentation, and executive-level status reporting. - Monitor project performance, project costs, change management, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Business Analysis & Solution Alignment - Analyze and assess existing business processes and workflows impacted by technology initiatives. - Conduct structured requirements gathering sessions; document business and functional requirements. - Translate business needs into clear, prioritized requirements and delivery outcomes, balancing user experience, operational efficiency, and risk considerations. - Develop process maps and ensure alignment between business objectives and system capabilities. - Support testing efforts, including development and coordination of user acceptance testing (UAT). Cross-Functional & Vendor Coordination - Collaborate with the office of General Counsel to ensure agreements and proper legal protections are in place at the beginning of each project. - Collaborate with IT during project to coordinate technical execution. - Partner with Learning & Development to ensure effective training is delivered on new or changed solutions. - Partner with other cross-functional stakeholders when projects impact broader firm operations. - Facilitate project meetings and ensure clear communication among technical and business stakeholders. - Coordinate with third-party vendors and implementation partners to ensure delivery against agreed milestones. - Manage initiatives involving cloudbased platforms, SaaS vendors, and system integrations, ensuring alignment with firm security, data, and operational standards. PMO & Governance Support - Contribute to the development and refinement of PMO standards, templates, and governance processes. - Support structured project intake and prioritization efforts within the PMO. - Participate in post-project evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives. - Support the use of delivery metrics, dashboards, and reporting to improve visibility into project health, throughput, and outcomes for IT and firm leadership. - Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications - 5+ years of relevant experience. - Proven project management experience leading IT or technology-focused initiatives. - Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with technical and operational components. - Demonstrated business analysis experience, including requirements elicitation and documentation. - Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) and tools such as Microsoft Project, Planner, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent. - Strong ability to understand technical architecture concepts and system interdependencies. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Strong analytical mindset with the ability to anticipate downstream impacts and manage risk. - Ability to work with discretion on confidential and sensitive matters. Desired Qualifications - Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) preferred. - Exposure to technology modernization efforts (e.g., cloud migration, platform consolidation, automation, AI-enabled solutions, data or analytics initiatives). - Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships across technical and business teams. - Flexible, dedicated teammate with a sense of ownership and proactive problem-solving skills.
