Warehouse Clerk/Supply Buyer

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Clerk/Supply Buyer to join our Boart Longyear team in Elko, NV.

Responsibilities

• Purchase maintenance parts for the shop and field
• Reduce item cost through sourcing activities
• Direct all processes and procedures for rig down situations
• Communicate clearly with internal customers to set expectations and understand customer requirements
• Proactively prevent and resolve issues related to spare parts availability
• Check in Parts physically and receive in system.
• Data entry
• Forklift operation
• On call Weekends
• Other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of proven working experience as a Planner / Buyer
• Good understanding of Supply Chain process and supply ordering techniques
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work with different personalities and follow direct orders
• Proficient in spreadsheet software
• Equipment maintenance background preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Oracle software experience preferred
