Role Overview The Superintendent is responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, managing, supervising, promoting, disciplining, and, when necessary, discharging all projectrelated staff. This role ensures effective management of all human resource matters in accordance with company policies and procedures, including performance ratings, promotion recommendations, and pay adjustments. The Superintendent provides guidance and mentorship to support all customer and company goals and objectives. Experience Requirements * Prefer a minimum of five (5) years of supervisory or managerial experience. * Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Lead Communications Technician or similar role. * Minimum of five (5) years of experience in telecommunications or a related technical or construction field. * Must be proficient with computers and skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and MS Project). * Must meet company minimum driving standards. * Must demonstrate verifiable ability to define a project, create a project scope of work, prepare estimates, develop detailed tasks, and manage projects through completion and customer turnover. * Must be able to use the following trade tools: * punch tool with 110 block and 66 block blade, 6/8 position combo crimp tool, Krone/3M/BIX, butt set, voltohmmeter, 4pair continuity tester, and 5gang punch tool. Skills * Project management * Construction * Construction management * ISP * Microsoft Office * Microsoft Excel * Microsoft Project Top Skills Details * Project management * Construction * Construction management * ISP Additional Skills & Qualifications * Act as the senior company liaison for operational interface with customer representatives. * Plan for, manage, monitor, and maintain project profitability to achieve company goals. * Ensure deadlines are met according to customer requirements. * Manage overall workload distribution, staffing levels, customer delivery, and installation progress. * Oversee successful job completion, productivity, and compliance with project budgets. * Review job cost postings for accuracy, including invoice preparation, customer collections, and periodic financial reporting. * Complete all project and company paperwork accurately and on time (timesheets, material transfers, work orders, change orders, tool transfers, etc.). * Ensure all Job Closing Packages meet company and customer standards. * Perform quality checks, prevent outages, conduct job walks, and prepare redlined asbuilt drawings. * Serve as main onsite customer contact for all questions and concerns; attend facility and construction meetings as required. * Demonstrate strong technical knowledge; troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise. * Review and monitor operational processes for accuracy, completeness, and efficiency (estimating, purchasing, invoicing, warehousing, scheduling, reporting). * Develop, redesign, and implement process improvements as needed for operational efficiency. * Work with the Training Department and monitor safety and quality issues; actively promote safety as the first priority. * Lead assigned operations meetings and training sessions. * Oversee tool and truck inventory/maintenance. * Complete any other assigned responsibilities. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Barker, NY. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
