TALENT ACQUISITION SOURCER (CONTRACT, FULL-TIME)

The Talent Acquisition Sourcer will participate in executing McGough's recruitment and hiring processes, strategies, and goals. Key responsibilities include:



  • Sourcing candidates for upcoming and open positions

    • Successfully coordinates the sourcing process to ensure consistency and efficiency
    • Supports and works with the Director, Talent Acquisition (TA), TA team & Hiring Managers to build and execute the company's workforce pipeline strategies
    • Ensure a strong candidate experience from first contact
    • Fosters and builds relationships with prospective new talent




Qualifications:

Required:



  • 1-3 years of related experience with emphasis in technical recruiting or sourcing
  • Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems, online recruiting tools, professional networking platforms, and job boards


Preferred:



  • Experience with full life cycle recruiting process
  • Experience hiring in the construction industry


Skills:



  • Strong collaboration and verbal and written communication skills with the ability to function as an integral team member, working under time constraints and meeting deadlines in a changing environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of creative and innovative sourcing techniques
  • Capacity to coordinate multiple tasks and source for multiple positions to meet deadlines
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Talent to establish rapport and effectively advise all levels within the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking skills and problem solve
  • Ability to work with confidential data and maintain privacy
  • Ability to professionally voice concerns and effectively deal with conflict

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, computer skills, including Excel


Core Responsibilities:

Candidate/talent pool communications, branding and employment



  • Works with the Talent Acquisition and Marketing teams to proactively communicate culture, values and job opportunities using a variety of social media outlets, in-house platforms, job boards, etc.


Candidate sourcing and screening



  • Utilizes advanced recruitment and sales skills while continuously innovating with new ideas to attract talent
  • Uses both traditional and non-traditional resources and a network of established contacts to identify and attract talent, find potential candidates, screen them, and recommend most qualified options
  • Helps to identify what resources should be used to attract passive and active candidates in the construction industry
  • Builds applicant sources by researching community organizations, higher education establishments, search firms, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits
  • Develops and maintains a network of professional candidates to be sourced via online talent community
  • Develop and implement candidate sourcing that encourage and supports diversity and inclusion
  • Conducts initial conversations, make recommendations to the hiring manager and coordinate interviews with hiring manager and interview team as needed


Manages candidate information



  • Via reporting and communications in applicant tracking system, LI Recruiter, job boards and social media platforms, etc.


Continuously improves processes



  • Identifies and helps lead initiatives that drive hiring efficiencies and improvements to our recruitment efforts
  • Tracks and maintains all recruiting metrics including, but not limited to, interviews per hire, cost per hire, performance of new hires, turnover rate for company and departments, as well as onboarding feedback


Provide additional recruiting support during peak hiring periods or when workload demands

Other duties as needed

Office, Travel, and Contract Duration:

Office/Travel: This position offers a hybrid or remote work flexibility. Occasional travel for career fairs, industry events, and visits to headquarters.

Contract duration: 3 months, with the potential for extension based on future workload and business needs.

Position involves sitting for extended periods of time at employee's work station. Employee needs to be able to lift up to 20 pounds as frequently as needed to move objects; dexterity to write and manipulate computer keyboard and mouse; ability to hear and speak clearly; and ability to distinguish between colors on graphs and charts.

Occasionally, employee will be required to visit construction jobsites which may expose the employee to dirt, dust, uneven surfaces, outdoor weather conditions and extreme temperatures.

In alignment with our commitment to pay transparency, the base salary range for this position is $30.00/hour - $55.00/hour, excluding fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you join McGough, your final base salary will be determined by several factors, including geography, location, skills, education, and experience. Furthermore, we place significant value on pay equity among our current team members as part of any final job offer.
