WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview): Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Business Operations Specialist IV leads the daytoday management of regional administrative and business office functions. This role oversees a wide range of operational areas, including budget monitoring, financial transactions, vendor and facilities management, fleet coordination, HR and IT support, and records and reporting. The Specialist also supervises volunteers responsible for daily transactional tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow. This position establishes and maintains operational procedures and standards to drive efficiency, consistency, and service quality across the region. Serving as the primary trainer for business software applications, the Specialist ensures staff and volunteers are equipped to use key systems effectively. In the absence of the COO, this role provides operations management and continuity for the Region. Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State and local regulations. The salary range for this position is (CA): $31.20 - 33.29/hr Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used todetermineyour actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience youhaveandcomparisonto other employees already in this role. This role is not eligible for relocation assistance. Must be located in Los Angeles County. This reports to our Santa Monica chapter office twice a week (subject to change) with the remaining three days, work from home. WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities):

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Physical requirements are those present in normal office environment conditions. Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Ability to use a personal computer, applicable software, and office equipment for sustained periods of time.
