Home Loan Specialist - Job Description The Home Loan Specialist is an essential entrylevel role that supports multiple mortgage and lending channels by ensuring smooth, accurate, and timely processing of loan files. In this position, you will contribute to highquality customer service and operational efficiency by performing key administrative and validation tasks throughout the loan lifecycle. Key Responsibilities * Perform routine and accurate data entry to maintain loan records and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements * Initiate and track thirdparty service orders, including title, appraisal, hazard insurance, flood certifications, and credit reports * Review, verify, and validate loan documents to support underwriting and processing workflows * Handle incoming and outgoing communication via phone, email, and chat to address basic customer and internal team inquiries * Monitor work queues, prioritize assigned tasks, and proactively intervene to prevent delays in loan processing * Support crossfunctional teams by completing administrative and clerical duties as needed * Uphold company values and demonstrate behaviors aligned with organizational culture and customercentric service standards Required Skills & Qualifications * Strong attention to detail with the ability to review and validate financial documents * Excellent communication skills across phone, email, and digital channels * Solid organizational and timemanagement abilities in a deadlinedriven environment * Competency with data entry and comfort navigating digital systems and queues Preferred Experience * Previous mortgage or homelending experience preferred * OR Bachelor's degree with experience in financial services * Candidates with strong administrative, office, or customer service backgrounds in a professional environment will also be considered Experience Level * Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
