Room Service Ambassador Full Time Days

Job Summary:

The purpose of the Room Service Ambassador is to serve meals to patients in a professional, efficientmanner; instruct patients on the meal ordering system; assist patients with placing their meal orders withinthe limitations of the physician prescribed diet; and to assess patients' capabilities to utilize the meal ordersystem. The Room Service Ambassador will be able to provide basic information to a patient regardingtheir physician prescribed diet and will alert the patient's Clinical Dietitian and/or Nurse when furthereducation or assessment is needed. The Room Service Ambassador is the main representative (or "face")of the Food and Nutrition Services Department on patient floors. The Room Service Ambassador positionworks much of their time without direct supervision.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous customer service or food industry experience preferred.
