Program Manager - Early Intervention (Full Time)

Location: Woonsocket, RI

POSITION SUMMARY:

Promote and implement high standards of family-centered practice and service provision within Early Intervention. Communicate effectively in order to achieve programs goals through leadership and motivation. Support professional development in the agency by providing administrative and reflective supervision. Work under regular direction and supervision of the Director of Early Childhood Services in accordance with the agency's mission, philosophy and program goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's, Master's or higher degree consistent with RI Early Intervention requirements for "Qualified Personnel", or
  • Completion of a program of advanced study as required for certification, licensure, or registration in the relevant discipline, or
  • Current certificate, license, or registration for a discipline listed under "Qualified Personnel" in the RI Early Intervention guidelines.
  • Minimum three years direct-service experience with young children with special needs and their families.

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Provides weekly individual administrative and reflective supervision

  • Responsible for positive cooperative relationships with funders, internal agency programs, and community agencies and organizations

  • Responsible for oversight and management of annual EOHHS audits and Corrective Action Plan response and follow up

  • Monitors EI billing in conjunction with agency Finance Department and Early Childhood Director

  • Manages program referrals to adhere to 45-day compliance, working closely with Referral Specialist/Administrative Assistant

  • Oversight of Welligent electronic record system including running of program reports for program and billing compliance

  • Responsible for the selection, orientation and training of program staff and interns

  • Coordinates the development and implementation of operating procedures

  • Plans and facilitates program subcommittees, workgroups and team meetings

  • Coordinates and completes monthly peer record reviews and quarterly reports in accordance with agency regulations and COA standards

  • Develops annual program Logic Model and summary with Early Childhood Director in compliance with COA regulations

  • Provides oversight of contracted OT, PT and SLP services (contract creation, quality reviews, monthly invoicing, etc)

  • Plans and facilitates bi-annual LEA meetings, and participates in EOHHS Community of Practice meetings

  • Enhances professional development through participation in agency and EOHHS sponsored trainings

  • Provides direct services to consumers consistent with qualified personnel standards of care and family-centered practice as needed
