The Technical Trainer position pays between$78,640.00 to $98,300.00 and is based on skills, experience and education of the successful candidate. About This Position Would you like to be able to share your extensive technical knowledge with others? New Mexico Gas has two (2) open Technical Trainer roles. One role will specialize in Measurement/Pressure Control & SCADA Systems and the other role will specialize in Cathodic Protection (CP). This position is responsible for delivering important Operator Qualification (OQ) training for new and existing employees. You will find the workday interesting as you provide expert knowledge for our gas operations staff, and aid in the development of many employees throughout the company. Successful Candidate Must Have
Work Environment Field/classroom environment. May be required to work at various job sites, out of town, and/or remote locations. Regularly required to stand and/or walk up to 2/3 of the time and sit up to 1/3 of the time. Manual dexterity required. Ability to climb and balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl; and to talk, listen, taste or smell. Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must occasionally lift and/or more than 50 pounds. May be exposed to wet, humid and/or outdoor weather conditions; may work near moving mechanical parts, fumes and/or airborne particles, toxic and/or caustic chemicals; extreme heat, risk of electrical shock and/or radiation; vibration, and/or very loud noise. Working in hazardous environments that include high-pressure gas, chemicals and automatic equipment is required. | |
