The Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing end to end supply chain operations while leading strategic sourcing initiatives that support cost reduction, supplier performance, and long term business growth. This role combines operational supply chain leadership with proactive supplier identification, negotiation, and relationship management to ensure the organization maintains a competitive, resilient, and cost effective supply base.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
Develop and execute sourcing strategies that reduce material costs, improve quality, and enhance supply reliability.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to expand and strengthen the supplier network.
Lead contract negotiations, pricing agreements, and long term supply commitments.
Conduct supplier risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for cost, quality, and continuity risks.
Maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring consistent performance and compliance with company standards.

Procurement & Cost Optimization
Oversee procurement activities to ensure competitive pricing, timely delivery, and adherence to inventory targets.
Analyze market trends, raw material pricing, and supplier capabilities to support cost reduction initiatives.
Create and manage annual sourcing plans that align with budget goals and operational needs.
Collaborate with Finance to track cost saving performance and validate sourcing impacts.

Supply Chain Operations
Manage supply planning, demand forecasting, and inventory levels to support operational efficiency and customer requirements.
Ensure seamless coordination between procurement, logistics, operations, and production teams.
Optimize supply chain processes to improve reliability, reduce lead times, and enhance overall performance.
Monitor key supply chain KPIs, including service level, inventory health, and supplier performance metrics.

Cross Functional Collaboration
Partner with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Product Development to ensure sourcing strategies meet technical and business requirements.
Support new product launches through early supplier engagement and sourcing of required materials.
Communicate supply risks, cost impacts, and sourcing status updates to leadership and stakeholders.

Leadership & Compliance
Lead and develop the supply chain and sourcing team, fostering high performance and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing principles, and regulatory requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across sourcing, procurement, and supply chain operations.

Show your expertise

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field (Master's preferred).
5-10 years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, or procurement roles, with proven success in cost reduction and supplier management.
Strong negotiation skills and experience with contract development.
Knowledge of supply chain systems, ERP platforms, and sourcing tools.
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
