Overview

Performs minor services such as touch-up painting, replacement of lavatory washers and seats, unstopping toilets, replacing filters and belts, etc. Performs laborer functions such as using shovels, wheelbarrows, etc. Replaces electric light fixture parts such as bulbs, tubes to include cleaning. Performs industrial cleaning services in mechanical work areas. Performs other duties as required or directed by management. Other duties as may be assigned, provided the employee possesses the proper licensing for that duty, if required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Specific instructions shall be furnished on all assignments, except routine and unskilled repetitive tasks.

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, LICENSURE, EXPERIENCE:

  • Highschool Diploma.
  • Entry level experience in facilities maintenance preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance as required by the Government.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Must be able to work from all types of ladders and perform work at various heights.
  • Wear personal protective equipment as required by OSHA and EM-385.
  • Mop, brush, or spread paints, cleaning solutions, or other compounds over surfaces to clean them or to provide protection.

This position is subject to the terms and condition of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between Tatitlek Technologies, Inc. and The International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 99-99A, AFL-CIO.

As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.
