Production Specialist -1st Shift

The Sanmina Fremont facility is a full-service enclosure systems solution manufacturing plant. Located in California's Silicon Valley, this facility produces low-to-mid volume New Product Introduction (NPI) runs to full-scale volume. The Fremont facility offers everything from small piece parts to fully integrated and tested systems. Supporting diverse technology sectors including semiconductor, telecommunications, and medical equipment, the Fremont facility offers a wide array of services including sheet metal fabrication, welding, painting and clean room assembly.

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Production Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be the engine of our operations, ensuring that high-quality products are created efficiently and safely. You'll oversee the production process from start to finish, troubleshooting issues as they arise and maintaining our high standards for excellence.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment/software to meet daily production targets.
• Perform rigorous inspections to ensure all outputs meet company and industry specifications.
• Identify bottlenecks in the production line and suggest innovative ways to increase efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Work closely with the Warehouse and Quality Assurance teams to ensure timely delivery and resource management.

Education and Experience Qualifications:

• 6 years in a production or manufacturing environment (specific industry experience preferred).
• Proficiency with [insert specific tools, e.g., CNC machines, Adobe Creative Suite, or ERP software].
• Basic knowledge of material flow monitoring in Oracle.
• Understanding of basic ShopVue concepts.
• Ability to think on your feet when equipment malfunctions or deadlines shift.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment (and lifting up to [25] lbs if applicable).

Salary Range (annual): $47,840 - $56,160 ($23.00 - $27.00). Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
