Position Title: Cost Estimator Wage: $24.00 - $27.00/Hour Shift: 1st Shift Hours: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Are you an experienced cost estimator with general knowledge of the manufacturing field? Cost Estimator Responsibilities: - Quote new parts and update existing parts using blueprints and other customer supplied data - Organize workload to accommodate customers and sales department - Locate material and get price and delivery information - Assist customers and sales department in product design and material capabilities - Attend courses or seminars and assist on project teams when asked - Other tasks as assigned. May be cross trained for other positions Requirements For Cost Estimator: - Strong written & verbal communication skills - Quality minded, strong attention to detail - Basic math ability - Basic measuring ability - Problem identification and solution - Cooperation with innovation and continuous improvement - High school diploma, or equivalent - Minimum 2+ year's previous experience in the Estimating field - General knowledge of CNC or manufacturing processes - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MRP system - Ability to read drawings - Understanding of GD&T tolerancing.
