Modeling and Simulation Lead
Fort Bragg, NC Summary:
ATS is looking for a qualifiedModeling and Simulation Lead to support the Special Operations Mission Training Center Facilityat Fort Bragg, NC. Job Duties: Lead the design, development, and integration of virtual and constructive modeling and simulation (M&S) capabilities in support of Special Operations Mission Command Exercises at SOMTC, ensuring alignment with Army M&S doctrine and training objectives. Supervise and manage media, terrain, and simulation development teams, overseeing personnel, production timelines, quality control, and integration of terrain and scenario assets into exercise environments. Develop and maintain high-fidelity terrain databases and simulation environments using Terra Vista Dart (or equivalent terrain authoring tools), ensuring realistic replication of operational areas and mission variables. Direct production of simulation-based media and scenario content utilizing Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and related tools to enhance immersive training effects and support operational realism. Basic Qualifications: * Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree * Special Skills/Qualifications Required: In-depth knowledge in Army Modeling and Simulation concepts. In-depth knowledge of the following software: Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Terra Vista Dart or equivalent Terrain Creation/authoring suite. Effective leadership and supervisory skills. Experience supervising personnel * Minimal Background/Experience Required: Two years of experience with virtual and constructive computer simulations, video editing and authoring of specific simulation for scenarios. Preferred Qualifications: Two years' supervisory experience of a media/terrain modeling development team focusing on constructive and virtual simulations Other Requirements: US Citizenship required for this Position:Yes Performance Location:Fort Bragg, NC Relocation Assistance:No Clearance Type:Secret Travel Required: None Working Environment:The working environment is a high-security, fast-paced Special Operations training facility thatoperatesin direct support of mission-critical and time-sensitive training events. Personnel work closely with military leadership, government representatives, contractors, and visiting units, often in a dynamic environment with frequent schedule changes, after-hours requirements, and surge operations. The position requires strict adherence to Army physical security policies, discretion when handling sensitive information, constant attention to detail, and a strong customer-service mindset whileoperatingwithin controlled access areas and under Secret-level security clearance requirements.
