Job Description:

This position is responsible for the management of finished goods processing, including loading and unloading of equipment, receiving and inspecting equipment, and reconfiguration of equipment as required. This leadership position will coordinate closely with many other teams, including production, sales, supply chain, logistics, finance, and carriers. The position is responsible for driving a safe work culture that is focused on quality and productivity. The position will be responsible for the Distribution Center located in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

What you'll do

  • Ensures that Terex Health and Safety policies and procedures are implemented andfollowed, as well as compliance to all local regulations

  • Maintaining and upkeeping Timesheets

  • Maintaining and upkeeping Team Member work histories

  • Work cross functionally with Manufacturing, Sales, Customer Service, Engineering, Quality and Global Logistics Teams as necessary

  • Establishes and maintains standard work and procedures for all DC operations

  • Maintains KPI's for Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Morale and set's plans to adjust asnecessary

  • Supervises the day-to-day operations of the Distribution Center to include shipping,receiving, reconfiguration, and inspection of equipment

  • Supervision of Team Members, including hiring, training, and performance management

  • Ensures performance to plan through KPI management, communication, and leaderstandard work discipline

  • Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessarydocumentation

  • Supports cycle count programs and ensures accurate inventory counts

  • Works with Logistics planning team on load optimization and daily schedules

  • Ensures a high level of quality, through audits, VOC, and inspection of both processes andequipment

  • Develops plans and actions for continuous improvement.

  • Utilizes problem solving tools and methods to resolve performance issues

  • Development and adherence to AOP (annual budget)

What you'll bring

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading a Manufacturing Team or Order Fulfillment Team

  • Bachelor's degree or technical degree preferred but not required

  • Experience in operation of forklifts and heavy equipment

  • Knowledge of loading and shipping products in various modes such as FTL, LTL, and ocean containers

  • Strong technical skills and experience with heavy equipment

  • Flexible with strong teamwork orientation

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience with Materials Department functions within Manufacturing or Order Fulfillment from a Parts Distribution operation

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement

  • Ability to work well under pressure

  • Commitment and excellent understanding of lean principles

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively implement change

  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), pivot tables, and TMS (Oracle MRP)

  • Operate in a fast paced, continuous improvement environment

  • Demonstrated leadership ability, including experience coaching and training others

  • Assess and improve material and information flow

  • Develop and document standard work

Salary: The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 annually.
