Snowflake is about empowering enterprises to achieve their full potential, and people too. With a culture that's all in on impact, innovation, and collaboration, Snowflake is the sweet spot for building big, moving fast, and taking technology, and careers, to the next level.

Snowflake empowers more than 10,000 organizations worldwide to unlock the full potential of AI-driven data, shaping the future of intelligent business. As companies embrace transformative AI and data workloads, security is not just important, it's essential.

Join the Security Platform team at the heart of this revolution, where YOU will lead the charge in seamlessly protecting customers as they accelerate their journey into AI and data analytics. Security is both the foundation and the catalyst for Snowflake's bold mission, and your work will directly build customer trust at global scale.

We are looking to hire an experienced Staff Technical Program Manager who can be part of a world-class team that builds Snowflake's product and cloud platform. As a Staff Technical Program Manager, you'll drive the execution of innovative security initiatives that remove roadblocks and enable customers to harness the power of AI securely. You'll own end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional programs including multi-factor authentication (MFA), advanced network protections, AI-powered security experiences, and the Trust Center, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Security, and Operations to ensure scalable, reliable, and high-quality outcomes.

You will team up with talented engineers, collaborate across functions, and shape the roadmap for security products that not only meet industry best practices but set new standards.

As a Staff Technical Program Manager, you will:
  • Be responsible for defining and delivering important programs with broad organizational, business and technical impact.

  • Provide cross-functional leadership with Engineering and Product Management, and inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding program outcomes.

  • Bring strong, data-driven and strategic technical judgment to decisions.

  • Be hands-on, working closely with Software Engineers and Product Managers to design, build, and deliver the next generation of Snowflake services and apps.

  • Amplify your impact by educating and mentoring the TPM and Engineering communities on program management best practices.

  • Identify opportunities to improve execution of the organization as a whole, to increase engineering productivity through tools and light-weight processes. (Snowflake happens to have a nice data platform to use :-)

A Staff Technical Program Manager at Snowflake is expected to have:
  • 7+ years of demonstrated industry experience and expertise leading medium to large complex engineering projects in current cloud technologies

  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles, compliance frameworks, and industry best practices for securely deploying and operating LLMs and machine learning platforms

  • Proven track record of driving complex security initiatives, such as implementing multi-factor authentication (MFA), zero-trust architecture, or advanced network protections, ideally within AI or data-intensive ecosystems.

  • Ability to thrive and succeed in a dynamic environment not slowed down by ambiguity or competing priorities

  • Experience working cross functionally with engineering, product management, and other functions involved in the product life cycle

  • Strong program management skills with technical and business acumen

  • Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, consultation and organizational skills

  • BS/MS/PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields or equivalent practical experience (e.g. familiarity with SQL, Python, Data)

Every Snowflake employee is expected to follow the company's confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data.
