About the Role:

As an associate consultant in the Change Management and Learning Development practice, you will collaborate with team members to support our clients. Serving as a communications and marketing specialist, your day to day role as a NYSTEC consultant will be to support project teams by assisting with communications, stakeholder engagement, and content development efforts.

This entry-level role is targeting a recent graduate with a strong interest in communications, marketing, and instructional design who is eager to learn and grow in a consulting environment. The associate consultant will work under the direction of a project manager and contribute to day-to-day project activities that support public-sector clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support developing and executing project communications and stakeholder engagement materials
  • Review and edit documents for grammar, clarity, consistency, reading level, and overall flow
  • Assist with developing and maintaining learning and training materials, including learning Rise 360 and other instructional design tools as needed
  • Incorporate feedback and direction from the project manager on a daily basis to support project deliverables
  • Help organize, track, and update project content and documentation with a high level of attention to detail


About you:
Required Qualifications

  • Solid written communication skills with attention to detail, grammar, and tone
  • Interest in communications, marketing, and stakeholder engagement within a consulting or public-sector environment
  • Willingness and ability to learn new tools and platforms, including Rise 360
  • Ability to take direction, manage assigned tasks, and meet deadlines in a team-based setting


Preferred/Desired Qualifications

  • Relevant internship or academic experience in communications, marketing, instructional design, or stakeholder engagement
  • Internship experience supporting public-sector, government, or nonprofit organizations
  • Familiarity with basic technologies related to learning, editing, or developing content


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, learning technology, instructional design, or a related field.


The target base salary for this position is $60,407 - $75,509 per year. When determining compensation, we analyze and carefully consider several factors, including skill set, experience, location, and job-related qualifications.
