Hear what our hospital president has to say about what we do and why we do it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qj5KuB34gU8 Position Summary: The Nurse Educator (Nursing Professional Development Specialist) assesses the educational needs of nursing staff for our critical care areas (ICU, Step-Down ICU, and Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology) and works closely with the management team to develop and implement programs to meet those needs. The RN/Educator is involved in all aspects of staff development, including orientation and continuing education, and serves as a resource to staff and managers regarding patient care standards for the ICU/SCU/IRCV. The Nurse Educator will adjust schedule as needed in order to provide supervision and guidance to new staff on off-shifts. Participates on multidisciplinary committees to complete projects/procedures that affect direct patient care. Participates in implementing strategic hospital and department initiatives. Education/Experience:
Salary Range: Minimum 46.57/hour - Maximum 72.18/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
