You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, assist staff and visitors with clear communication, and respond to incidents with calm professionalism. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Bring agility, reliability, innovation, and a caring, people-first mindset as you deliver through teamwork and act with integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating disruptive behavior and coordinating with hospital staff and/or local responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior corridors, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
  • Monitor access points and visitor flow as assigned, verify credentials when required, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations to site leadership.
  • Document security-related activities, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate pertinent information during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Hospital: Vaccines required.
  • Hospital: Morgue required.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Hospital: Restrain individuals.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
