Security Officer - Airport Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Airport Patrol Driver in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support shoppers, tenants, and staff with courteous service. You will communicate clearly, document observations, and respond to concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail and mall location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, parking lots, loading areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or policy concerns.
• Monitor activity and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to the appropriate contacts, and assist with directing visitors and managing access to nonpublic areas as assigned.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with disturbances, medical calls, and evacuations as directed by site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate updates to Allied Universal management and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
