As a Security Officer - Full Time - Afternoons in Cedar Rapids, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location where you will focus on access control, greeting employees and visitors, verifying credentials, managing entry points, and documenting activity. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with site teams when concerns arise. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, including access control and visitor management at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Control entry and exit points by checking identification, issuing badges and/or passes, verifying authorization, and maintaining accurate access logs and related documentation.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other access control systems; report irregular activity and communicate with site contacts according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and assisting with emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help reduce the risk of unauthorized access and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
