Contribute to the engineering and construction efforts for store facilities, ensuring timely and budget-conscious project completion. Create site-specific plans, resolve conflicts, and collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
Engineering Plans: Create site-specific engineering plans/drawings with strong knowledge on Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), and Structural engineering and remodel construction timelines with contractors, vendors, and internal installation crews.
Technical Skills: Demonstrate technical proficiency in Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Structural engineering. Uphold Engineering/Installation Department procedures and policies, demonstrating strong time management and organizational skills to ensure efficient project execution.
Collaboration: Work closely with construction/installations teams, store services, vendors, leasing, and stakeholders to ensure proper construction completion dates and project budgeting. Coordinate with Installations for timeline adjustments.
Software Utilization: Use various related software to ensure project success. Work with leasing on leases, negotiations, timing, and lease/amendment exhibits.
Engineering Problem-Solving: Solve complex engineering problems involving Civil, Fire, Architectural, MEP, and Structural components.
Inquiries Management: Direct Lease administration, Tax, CAM, and Insurance inquiries to the Accounting and or leasing team.
Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact and collaborate with all levels of management, contractor, government official and landlords/property owners.
Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis. Must be able to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis. Must be able to lift and carry up to 10 pounds. Must be able to climb and descend stairs. Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis. Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing. May work indoors and outdoors as needed. Exposure to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degrees. May work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required. May work in areas where toxic, flammable, and hazardous materials are present. May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt. Work surfaces may include concrete. Employee must be able to tolerate non-toxic paint odors and be able to wear a respirator as required. Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone. Some travel to other locations, meetings and/or seminars is required.
