OVERVIEW:

Job Title: Intern

Location: Transient

Job Type: Temporary

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; some weekends depending on project schedule

Performance Evaluated by: Direct Report and Job Superintendent

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Assist various departments by performing assigned task.
• Work to ensure construction progresses as scheduled and contract specifications are adhered to
• Assist Field Engineer
  
  
  
  • Using tape, rod, plumb bob, prism, etc.
  
  
  
  
• Assist in Quality Control
  
  
  
  • Collecting and documenting field data and reporting the information to the correct recipient
  
  
  
  
• Assist in Safety by following all safety policies in place and reporting unsafe conduct or conditions to Supervisory Personnel
• Perform general labor task assigned by Supervisory Field Personnel
  
  
  
  • Measuring and cutting lumber, nailing, retrieving materials etc.
  • Use drills, skill saws, hammers drills, wheelbarrow, shovel and other tools
  • General clean up around the job site
  
  
  
  

EDUCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain military base access
• Follow all RC Company Policies

• Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to frequently repeat the same movements with arms, hands, wrist, and fingers. (Use fine manipulation, frequent to constant traditional keyboarding)
• Use fingers to grasp, move, or assemble small objects
• Ability to seldomly lift < 50lbs
• Ability to reach overhead, at or below the shoulder
• Ability to see details of objects that are less than a few feet away
• Understand the speech of another person
• Speak clearly so listeners can understand
• Ability to focus on one source of sound and ignore others

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Employee is regularly working indoors, in an office setting
• Employee is regularly exposed to moderate noise levels
• Employee is expected to work in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean work area
