As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a busy retail and entertainment location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support guests and team members with friendly, professional service. You will complete routine rounds, observe activity, document key details, and communicate clearly with site leadership. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation and timely notification to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail and entertainment areas, parking areas, entry and exit points, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, manage guest flow during peak periods, and assist with crowd-related concerns as needed.
• Complete reports and logs for incidents, patrols, and notable activity, and communicate observations and/or concerns to the appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
