As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Officer in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and respond to security-related concerns while providing outstanding customer service. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site employees, contractors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a tech and telecom location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as required; direct visitors, manage check-in processes, and/or maintain a visible presence in lobby and common areas as assigned by post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with medical calls, fire alarms, and/or facility disruptions until additional resources arrive.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, document unusual activity, and communicate timely updates to site leadership, dispatch, and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
