As an unarmed Patrol Officer in an education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned buildings and grounds, conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and assist students, faculty, staff, and visitors with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and support campus operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control and other security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an academic location.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to campus resources and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, common areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, suspicious behavior, and/or hazards, completing detailed written reports and communicating updates to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.
• Support campus events and peak traffic periods by assisting with crowd flow, visitor direction, and policy reminders while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
