As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting, while using teamwork and integrity to represent Allied Universal with care, agility, reliability, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter spaces; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or local emergency services when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow, provide directions, assist with wayfinding, and help to deter unauthorized entry through presence and security-related policy awareness.
• Complete required documentation such as shift logs, incident reports, and patrol records, and communicate notable activity to Allied Universal leadership and/or client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Having a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
