What You Will Do:

GFT is seeking Construction Inspectors - Damto join our Construction Services team in the Southern California (San Bernardino ; Riverside ; Corona ; Chino Hill ; Lake Elsinore) area to inspect medium to large scale Water / Wastewater related projects throughout Southern CA.

We oversee every construction phase to help ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety andquality standards.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Field Inspections:Conduct routine and, if necessary, emergency site inspections of dams, spillways, valves, and outlet structures.
  • Data Analysis:Review and interpret instrumentation data, such as seepage and movement, to evaluate stability.
  • Regulatory Compliance:Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations (e.g., FERC licensing), including reviewing design documents for repairs, modifications, or removals.
  • Documentation:Prepare detailed technical reports on findings, recommendations, and maintenance needs.
  • Safety Coordination:Collaborate with construction teams and management to manage safety risks and plan maintenance.
Education | Experience:
What you will bring to our firm:
  • 5+ years of experience inspecting structural integrity and regulatory compliance for dams
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $125,000 - $155,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
