Security Officer - Night Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Night Patrol Driver in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct driving patrols and visible rounds, monitor assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet tenants and visitors with standout customer service, communicate clearly, and complete accurate reports. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license in the job state that meets AU Driver Policy requirements. Be agile, reliable, innovative, and act with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and security-related policies for a commercial property.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with property management and/or local emergency services as needed.
• Monitor and document security-related activity using patrol reports, incident reports, and daily logs, noting hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy issues for follow-up.
• Control site access by verifying identification and/or credentials, directing visitors to appropriate destinations, and enforcing property rules in a courteous, professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
