Responsibilities
Job Summary: Perform a variety of general maintenance and custodial duties related to maintenance and repair of equipment, facilities, grounds, and buildings. Show by example a commitment to employee involvement and continuous improvement.
Perform general labor and maintenance activities such as moving materials, cleaning, and lubricating machines. Operate company vehicles in and outside the facility. Proper handling of a variety of hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Loading and unloading liquid and solid materials for production related processes. Cleaning, sweeping, mopping, painting, and maintaining factory floors. Emptying trash containers throughout facility. Records repair time, parts, and maintenance notes in the Maintenance Management System. Work various hours including weekends. Maintain work area in a neat and orderly manner according to 5-S principles. Maintain 100% compliance and completion of all required training. Demonstrate a knowledge of and commitment to learn manufacturing principles and techniques. Ensure that all work activities are performed in accordance with established safety and environmental standards. Maintains full compliance and conducts all activities in accordance with Company policies and procedures. Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications
- Understand, read, and write standard English.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability.
- Operate mobile equipment, grinders, standard hand tools, powered hand tools, and related equipment.
- Has understanding and working knowledge of pumps/motors/basic usage and mechanical knowledge of that type of equipment.
- Strong knowledge and practice in use of basic hand tools
- Some type of mechanical work history in any field (automotive, aerospace, truck, train)
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
