Join our Sullivan Breast Surgery Center as RN With its 318 beds, this non-profit, full-service acute care hospital offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopedic, skilled nursing inpatient services, and a 24-hour Emergency Department. Sibley's campus is also home to Grand Oaks, an assisted living residence; a medical building with physician offices and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers; and the new patient tower with 200 spacious, private rooms. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide and coordinate comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals undergoing Breast surgery. You will support patients throughout their entire journey-from the initial consultation through surgery, ensuring they receive the guidance, education, and resources they need. Key responsibilities include care coordination; reviewing and managing lab and diagnostic results; facilitating referrals; organizing and coordinating clinic visits; teaching pre-operative classes; and hosting support groups alongside designated presenters. The Breast Surgery Clinic RN will: Direct patient care for Breast Surgery patients in the ambulatory care setting Provide telephone triage and follow-up Provide Patient education Assist with in-office appointments Unit/Schedule Breast Surgery Clinic Full-time 40 hours/week, benefitted 8-hour day shift 8am- 4:30pm Location: Sibley Memorial Hospital, Washington, DC 20016 What awaits you! What You'll Need to be Successful: Bachelors' Degree or Associate degree from an Accredited School of Nursing. Current Washington DC Licensed Registered Nurse or eligible to obtain. Current CPR certification is required. Salary Range: Minimum 41.99/hour - Maximum $65.18/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
