For more information about Coral Shores Behavioral Health, please visit our website at https://coralshoresbehavioral.com We are pleased to announce the following available position: Maintenance Technician PART-TIME - DAYS Shifts, 8:30a - 5:00p weekdays/Weekends The Maintenance Technician will perform basic and routine preventative maintenance including install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in facilities by performing the listed duties and responsibilities. Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment. Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discuss machine operation variations with director/management to diagnose problem or repair machine. Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts. Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other machinery parts as needed. Install and repair minor plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets and valves. Install and repair minor electrical fixtures such as outlets, switches and ballasts. Repair and maintain physical structure of campus facilities. Fabricate and repair doors, benches, partitions, shelves and other wooden structures. Inspect, maintain records and provide minor service to facility vehicles. Maintain lawn equipment. Perform water treatment and maintain data records as required. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications Educacion High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience: A minimum of two(2) years' comparable experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
