CDL Driver - Class B Harrisburg, PA Pay : $23.00 - $26.00 26-02271 Position Overview The Class B CDL Driver is responsible for delivering materials safely and efficiently to customer locations while maintaining excellent customer service. This role involves operating a flatbed stake body truck to transport materials such as pipes, valves, fittings, and geotextiles. The driver will also assist with loading and unloading materials, securing loads, and performing daily vehicle inspections while complying with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies. Job Responsibilities Operate a flatbed stake body truck (automatic F250) to deliver materials to customer locations Transport materials such as pipes, valves, fittings, and geotextiles safely and securely Properly strap and secure flatbed loads to ensure safe transport within weight limits Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Verify delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures upon delivery Communicate with supervisors throughout the day regarding deliveries and schedule updates Assist with loading and unloading materials, including manual lifting up to 50 lbs Pick up customer returns and verify product matches the return request Pick up local purchase orders and return packing lists to the warehouse Ensure all delivery documentation is complete and returned to the warehouse Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies Fuel vehicles as required and report any vehicle issues, accidents, or violations Support warehouse operations as needed Represent the company professionally while providing quality customer service Job Requirements Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Must be 21 years of age or older Minimum of one year of experience driving Class B vehicles Sit-down forklift experience required Experience securing loads on flatbed trucks Comfortable operating camera-equipped trucks Basic smartphone proficiency Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs #ZR
