Responsibilities

The Risk Management Coordinator provides entry-level administrative support to the Risk Management Auto General Liability (AGL) function and safety / field departments, with a primary focus on incident-related video retrieval, preservation, and documentation. This role is critical in ensuring that video evidence and supporting materials are accurately identified, secured, and organized to support incident investigations and potential claims. In addition to video-focused responsibilities, the role assists with general administrative tasks related to incident reporting and claim documentation.

This position is well-suited for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual interested in building foundational experience in risk management, claims support, or safety-related operations.

Responsibilities:

Retrieve, review, and securely store video footage related to auto and general liability incidents in accordance with established retention and preservation protocols.
  • Ensure incident-related videos are accurately labeled, indexed, and uploaded to the appropriate electronic claim or incident folders.
  • Monitor incoming incident notifications to confirm that required video footage has been identified and preserved in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (i.e., operations, safety, or field personnel) to follow up on missing, incomplete, or late-submitted video related to incidents.
  • Maintain detailed documentation reflecting video requests and preservation status.
  • Provide administrative support to the Risk Management/AGL team, including data entry, document management, and file organization.
  • Support the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date incident and claim files, including correspondence, reports, photos, and other supporting documentation.
  • Respond to routine emails and inquiries related to incident documentation and route more complex questions to appropriate team members.
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information and compliance with company policies, procedures, and record retention requirements.
  • Perform additional administrative or project-based tasks as assigned to support risk management and safety.

Qualifications

Talent Requirements:

  • Entry-level position; prior administrative, risk management, safety, or claims-related experience is helpful but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documentation and preservation procedures consistently.
  • Effective organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Comfortable working with electronic document management systems and digital media files (video).
  • Ability to learn and apply internal systems related to incident reporting and claim documentation.
