Ever-Green Energy is looking for a team member to maintain, repair, calibrate, install, and troubleshoot all plant control/measurement equipment: (electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and electromechanical) to ensure full and efficient operation of the plants. Performs the responsibilities as a Senior I&C position for the company, in accordance company standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties and responsibilities of this position, the employee is constantly required to climb ramps/stairs; climbing ladders/scaffolding; communicating verbally by expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word to clearly impart oral information to other workers, customers, or the public; far visual acuity at 20 feet or more; the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds; near vision acuity at approximately 20 inches or less; peripheral vision. The employee is frequently required to crouching; foot/leg controls; keyboarding; reaching at/below shoulder level by extending hand and arms from 0 to 150 degrees; sitting; and standing/walking. The employee is occasionally required to crawling; fine manipulation of picking, pinching, or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than the whole hand; gross manipulation of seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hands; kneeling; lifting and carrying at a max of 30 pounds; pushing; pulling; reaching overhead by extending hands and arms in a 150 to 180 degrees vertical arc; stopping, and confined space with limited entry or exit. Must be capable of maneuvering throughout industrial facilities such as energy plants and building HVAC mechanical rooms, etc. Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This position involves working in a steam, hot water, and/or chilled water plant and/or its distribution system. While performing job duties, employees may occasionally encounter potential hazards, including fumes, airborne particles, high-pressure steam in piping or equipment, both hot and cold temperatures, and hazards associated with moving machinery. The work environment's noise level typically ranges from moderate to loud. Other potential hazards common to heating and cooling plants may include confined spaces, slippery surfaces, rotating equipment, chemical handling (e.g., water treatment chemicals), and burns. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided and physical controls are in place as needed to mitigate these risks. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on your experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity considerations. The hourly range for this position is: $52.00 to $58.50. This range reflects the base salary for this position.
