Using a sewing machine, sews the mattress panel and border together.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Uses computerized equipment to make borders for mattresses.
• Monitors machine operation, verifies product meets specifications.
• Trims loose threads, clears material jams, and resets computer as needed.
• Changes thread and loads bobbin as needed.
• Perform other duties, as required by supervisor.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand for a several hours per day.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to lift up to 50 lbs.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.
