Our client is seeking an experienced Production Designer to provide project-based support to global creative and digital experience teams. This role focuses on translating approved creative concepts into production-ready assets across web, digital, and occasional print platforms. The designer will typically support projects during their final execution phases-ensuring layouts, assets, and files are properly prepared for launch. Work occurs in short, focused bursts, helping global teams finalize deliverables quickly while maintaining design quality and consistency. This is an ideal opportunity for a highly organized production designer who enjoys stepping in toward the end of a project cycle to prepare assets for production and delivery. How This Role Works:
Project-based, ad hoc engagements.
Work typically occurs at the end of active creative projects.
On average, each engagement runs 8-16 hours.
Engagements occur approximately once per month, with increased frequency during peak marketing periods.
Key Responsibilities:
Build webpage wireframes and mockups in Figma using established component libraries.
Translate approved creative concepts into structured layouts that support production planning and asset capture.
Define component-driven asset requirements such as dimensions, ratios, and layout constraints.
Apply final photo, video, and copy assets into digital and print layouts.
Adapt creative across design system components while maintaining brand consistency.
Convert working design files into final production-ready artwork for both digital and print outputs.
Resize, version, and adapt assets across channels, ensuring technical accuracy and consistency.
Prepare final design files for delivery and maintain organized file structures for collaboration.
Partner closely with creative, digital experience, and production teams to ensure seamless handoff to development.
Qualifications:
Strong background in digital or production design.
Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Experience working with component-based design systems.
Familiarity with CMS workflows and developer handoff processes.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and file management.
Ability to jump into projects quickly and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Portfolio demonstrating strong, pixel-perfect production work across web and print platforms.

This opportunity is best suited for experienced freelance production designers who thrive in fast-turnaround environments. The ideal designer is confident, efficient, and comfortable taking a half-finished file and preparing it flawlessly for launch-working autonomously with minimal oversight. This is a project-based, freelance contract role. Timing, duration, and frequency of engagements will vary based on business needs. Pay range for this W-2 role varies $70-75/hr depending on project scope and experience.
