JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for performing visual inspections of fire extinguishers to ensure they meet specified standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Inspect extinguishers to ensure they meet all safety standards within the jurisdiction of the state.
Ensure tag is not expired and unit is in proper working order (pins have not been pulled, no physical damage exists, no repair or replacement needed).
Schedule service of units needing repair with service technicians.
This position is required to drive.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Background check, credit check, MVR and drug screen may be required (will vary by position).
