We are seeking a Senior Commercial Escrow Assistant to join our growing team in Phoenix. This role supports a high-performing commercial escrow team handling complex real estate transactions across multiple markets, including acquisitions, refinances, and portfolio deals.
As a Senior Commercial Escrow Assistant, you will play a key role in coordinating and executing high-value, multi-party transactions involving institutional investors, lenders, attorneys, and national brokerage firms. This position is ideal for an experienced escrow professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working on sophisticated commercial deals, and takes pride in delivering exceptional client service.
How You'll Contribute
- Support Escrow Officers on complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, refinances, and portfolio transactions across multiple states
- Assist in the escrow process from opening through closing and post-closing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution
- Prepare and review commercial closing statements, obtain invoices, and coordinate required title and escrow documentation
- Maintain a strong understanding of contracts, title commitments, escrow instructions, and transaction documentation
- Coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders, attorneys, brokers, and internal underwriting teams throughout the transaction lifecycle
- Support transactional accounting processes, including disbursements and reconciliation activities
- Operate with a high level of ownership and attention to detail while supporting escrow officers on sophisticated commercial transactions
- Communicate proactively with clients and partners to ensure a smooth, professional closing experience
- Develop and maintain knowledge of corporate policies, compliance standards, and wire fraud prevention procedures
- Continue building expertise in title coverage, endorsements, and associated transaction risk
- Participate in regional and national escrow calls and training opportunities
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment and assist with other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring
- Experience supporting commercial escrow transactions in a fast-paced title or real estate closing environment
- Ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong understanding of commercial closing statements, escrow instructions, and transaction documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills when working with clients, lenders, attorneys, and brokers
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills in a deadline-driven environment
- A customer-focused mindset and commitment to delivering exceptional service
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with escrow officers and internal partners
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Some college coursework preferred
- 3-5+ years of escrow experience supporting complex real estate transactions
- Experience supporting commercial real estate transactions strongly preferred
- Experience coordinating multi-party or multi-state closings is a plus
